Eid-ul-Fitr means “the feast of breaking the fast”. It is a 3-day celebration to celebrate the completion of Ramadan. Eid-ul-Fitr starts with special morning prayers. After prayers, people greet each other with “Eid Mubarak” and exchange gifts, sweets and treats, and “eiddy” (money). Muslims are encouraged to gather with community. Practices vary from country to country.
